Ocular Implant
Scanner
A dimensional relic originating from the S.A.I.S continuum. Stabilized, cataloged, and ready for cross‑realm transfer.
The MV2 Scanner is an upgraded Nexus scanning module engineered to perform automated beam sweeps across an artifact’s archive text. As the beam moves, it detects and highlights Mystery‑Vault‑recognized keywords—terms that can be used to unlock Archived Fragments.
Unlike the MV1, which requires manual magnifier movement, the MV2 deploys a continuous scanning beam that traverses the archive autonomously. Any word matching the Vault’s encrypted keyword registry is illuminated during the sweep.
The Nexus Archive contains dormant linguistic anchors hidden within ordinary text. These anchors resonate with the Vault’s internal lexicon and are essential for unlocking deeper Vault layers. The MV2’s beam identifies these anchors in real time, revealing which words hold fragment‑unlock potential.
The MV2 does not decode fragments or open vaults directly. Its sole function is to expose Vault‑approved keywords through automated beam scanning. Some fragments require a single match, others a sequence, and advanced fragments may require combinations across multiple artifacts.
Note: Avoid reloading the page during an active scan. Connectivity loss may interrupt scan logs or inventory sync.
Before You Acquire This Item
The MV2 Scanner is required for:
- Automated beam‑based keyword detection
- Revealing Vault‑recognized words during live sweeps
- Tracking keyword hits across multiple scan passes
- Unlocking Archived Fragments within the Mystery Vault
- Progressing through Vault tiers and Collector Challenges
Without the MV2, automated beam scanning is unavailable—keywords remain hidden and fragment progression is limited.
This item is used to scan individual artifacts archive for clues to unlock rewards from the Mystery Vault. It will move over the text to reveal hidden clues tied to the archive classes.
Across the Nexus, the atlas maps shifting constellations of memory. A battered codex hums with glyphs that echo through the timeline. Story arcs fold into themselves, and artifact lore whispers of a key hidden inside a child's lullaby. The story of the A-501 shard is incomplete — fragments point to a trade center and a vault beyond the veil.
Collectors trade rarities at the Nexus Trade Center. The codex entry mentions a ritual and a timeline marker at the equinox. Seek the atlas coordinates and the artifact-lore fragment to unlock the Mystery Vault.
